| Harpa Hungarica's program is rooted in the Hungarian music history that goes back over one thousand years in time. Hungarian composers from the16th century through the 20th century are represented in the music that in many respects is based on folk music tradition. The intention of recording this musical selection was to preserve valuable Hungarian music repertoire that was not available on harp recordings. Two of the compositions preserved on the CD were commissioned and premièred by Erzsébet. |
